Offer

A clear offer, not a price list dressed as a promise.

This page describes how the practice offers its operations services. It is an invitation to scope work. It is not an invoice and not a binding quote.

Commercial offer

What you can ask the desk to do

The services are operating routines, handoff design, vendor coordination, quality controls, capacity and scheduling, and operational reporting. They are delivered in one of three shapes. A binding scope, fee, and timetable are set out in a written proposal after we understand the work.

Desk review

Usually scheduled across two to three weeks

A written look at one operating area, ending in a brief and a recommended routine.

Included

  • A short written exchange to confirm the area under review
  • Conversations with the people who do the work, arranged in advance
  • A brief that names what is breaking and what is already working
  • A recommended routine, sized for the team that would run it

A desk review does not include running the routine for you, and it does not include a second operating area unless that is added in writing.

Operating cycle

Usually scheduled across four to eight weeks

One routine designed, tried on live work, revised, and handed to the people who will keep it.

Included

  • The discovery work of a desk review, kept inside the same engagement
  • Working sessions with the operators, not only with a manager
  • A trial on live work for an agreed period
  • Revisions after the trial, and the final documents
  • A walkthrough so the team can run the routine without us in the room

An operating cycle covers one routine. A second routine is a separate agreement.

Retained desk

A monthly cadence, agreed before the month begins

Ongoing coordination for a defined set of routines, with a written monthly summary.

Included

  • A named set of routines already in use
  • A set amount of coordination time each month
  • A written monthly summary of what moved, what stuck, and what needs a decision
  • A clear end point, so the retainer does not continue by silence

A retained desk is not a substitute for hiring an employee, and hours do not roll into unrelated projects.

Fees

Quoted in writing after the first conversation. The quote states the shape, the timetable, who is involved, and what sits outside the work. Sending a message through this website does not create a charge, and the site does not take payment.

Outside the offer unless a proposal adds it

  • Recruitment and employment decisions
  • Legal, tax, or financial advice
  • Bookkeeping
  • Software development or license sales
  • Standing in as your employee
  • A guaranteed financial or performance result

The engagement path explains what happens before any of this starts. The disclaimer states the limit of what the website itself promises.

How to take the next step

Write to the desk with the area you want looked at. We reply in writing. If the work fits, you receive a proposal. Work starts when you accept that proposal in writing.
