About the practice

A small desk for work that needs a clearer week.

Digitalstangrangid is the name Vladimir Lazarev uses for operations services. The practice is deliberately small: the person who scopes the work stays with it through delivery.

Organizations usually know what the work is. The strain shows up around it: a request with no owner, a supplier waiting in someone’s inbox, a check that exists only as a memory, a schedule that says yes to everything. Digitalstangrangid works on that strain.

The desk is in Chișinău, at Alba-Iulia St 21. Engagements are conducted in English and in writing, which is how a team elsewhere can work with a practice based in Moldova without pretending there is an office in their city.

We are not a software company, and we are not a substitute for hiring. If what you need is a person on payroll, or a platform, we will say that. If what you need is a routine your current team can keep, that is the work.

Principles the work has to survive

Scope before tools

A new system will not rescue a routine that has not been named. We start with the owner, the cadence, and the evidence that the work happened. Software is mentioned only if the routine is already clear and the current tools cannot hold it.

Visible work

If a task, a wait, or a decision cannot be pointed at, it will be renegotiated every week. We make the few facts that matter visible, and we leave the rest alone.

Light enough to keep

A routine that needs a facilitator is not a routine. We cut until the people who do the work can run it on a week when nothing special is happening.

Writing over memory

Scope, changes, and open questions are written down. Meetings, when they happen, end with a note. The engagement should still make sense if someone joins halfway through.

The client owns the result

Under the agreement, the documents are yours to keep and edit. The practice does not remain necessary for the routine to function. That is the point of leaving.

Method

The method is short on purpose. A longer method tends to become the work, instead of serving it. The path of a specific engagement is described on the how we work page.

Look

We look at the work as it is done this week. Who receives it, who touches it, where it waits, and which checks already exist. We use conversations and documents you already have. We do not install anything to observe you.

Shape

We name the break that matters, not every improvement idea in the room. Then we write a routine smaller than the problem list: an owner, a cadence, a definition of done, and a rule for the exception.

Leave

We try the routine on live work, change what does not hold, and hand over notes the team can use without us. If a further cycle is useful, it is a new written agreement. It does not continue by habit.
